A few months ago I posted a picture done by two young photographers from France and it was a stunning photo of a strikingly albino model amongst 4 strikingly darker models. The photo stood out to me and since then I have been friends with the photographers. They have now launched the movie that inspired the creation. Beautifully shot by Dabo Kadima and directed by Dikom Bakang & Mary -Anne Vernuccio it speaks of the power of diversity.
We are all so different in God’s likeness yet racism and prejudice flows like the air we breathe. The movie done against the background of poetry reminds man that when power leads him to arrogance and selfishness , poetry reminds him of his limitations. We must celebrate our diversity and debate our differences without hate. Diversity is what we have. It allows us to be who we are, a member of the rainbow nation. Enjoy.
